Dear Community Member,
On behalf of the Pennsylvania Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs, I would like to invite you to participate in an open community discussion on Islamophobia in the Philadelphia area. The intent of this round table is to review challenges the Muslim community faces, learn about local initiatives, and discuss ways the Commission can help combat Islamophobia. Our goal is to build stronger community networks and to promote a greater understanding of what it means to be Muslim in Pennsylvania.
The community forum will take place at Al Aqsa Mosque located at 1501 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19122 from 4pm – 6pm on Saturday, April 9th, 2016.
Please direct your RSVP, as well as any questions or concerns, to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, March 31st, 2016.
